Our university, Harran University, and Moulay Ismail University of Morocco jointly organized the "8th International Symposium on Mathematics and Engineering Sciences."

Hosted by Harran University, the symposium brought together academics and researchers from many fields.

The program, held in the conference hall of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş; Harran University Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tahir Güllüoğlu; Uşak University Rector, Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaşfarklı; Azerbaijan University Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Gasimov; international university representatives, academics, and students.

Following a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, the program continued with opening remarks. Opening remarks were delivered by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş; Harran University Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tahir Güllüoğlu; Prof. Dr. Zakia Hammouch, on behalf of the symposium organizing committee; and Prof. Dr. Dr. Rifat Çolak delivered the opening remarks.

Following the opening remarks, Harran University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tahir Güllüoğlu presented plaques to the academics who contributed to the conference. The conference continued with sessions in 30 different halls.

The conference was organized by Prof. Dr. Hacı Mehmet Başkonuş from Harran University, Prof. Dr. Zakia Hammouch from Moulay İsmail University in Morocco, and Prof. Dr. Hasan Bulut from Fırat University.

Approximately 350 scientists from 20 different countries will attend the symposium, where a total of 162 scientific papers will be presented.

Bringing together scientists working in the fields of mathematics and engineering, the symposium offers important initiatives aimed at exchanging knowledge and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. The conference will foster new scientific ideas through presentations, discussions, and established connections, and will also provide participants with the opportunity to visit Şanlıurfa's historical and cultural sites.
